The OV community center is the only building in the area that can accommodate both large and small events. OVCA members get a 20% discount. It has a large hall with a stage, audio/visual equipment, and a certified commercial kitchen. There is also a free library, classroom and meeting spaces, two large parking lots, and free WIFI. Built in 1979, it is located on three acres at 92-8924 Leilani Circle in Ocean View and is currently open Monday through Saturday 9am-noon.

Community Center Spaces
The Main Hall and Stage
The Main Hall is about 60x40 (2400 sq. ft.) and can accommodate up to 200 people at once. $20/hour
OV's Free Library
Thousands of books to check out. An extensive children's section, too.
Certified Commercial Kitchen
Completely renovated in 2021, the kitchen is available to rent at $20/hr ($15 if not cooking). It has 4 ovens, 12 stovetop burners, a griddle, 2 fridges, cleaning stations and a pantry.
Classroom
Generally used for educational activities, the classroom space is about 20x20, and rents for $15/hr.
The Multi-use "Green Room"
About 15x30, the Green Room is available for rent ($15/hr) for smaller (up to about 20 people) gatherings and events.
VA/Health Room
Historically used for Tele-health. About 15x15, this room is $15/hr.

The VA Telehealth System at the community center is up and running now.
Boys & Girls OVCA Partnership
The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island runs a free after-school program at the Ocean View Community Center. The program offers homework support, recreational activities, cultural programs, arts & crafts, daily snacks and transportation. It is available to youth 6-17 years old and usually operates weekdays from 1-5pm.
